Deloitte FAST 50 2021 CZ award

📈 Once again DataFromSky has placed within the top 50 technology companies with the best growth in the Czech Republic growing by 237% in 2021. This was announced in the Deloitte fast 50 awards that took place yesterday. This third success in a row has not been possible without our great team, business and technology partners, academic partners, and customers. We are sincerely grateful to them and we hope to keep providing great solutions that we can be proud of.

💡 In the last year, we have rapidly developed our FLOW framework – a robust video analysis AI-based solution and added many new functions making FLOW a truly multipurpose tool for both real-time post-processing data not only for traffic but also parking, retail and security. We have improved performance, added many new functions such as speed measuring, in-built ALPR or level of service but we have also improved API and ported FLOW on AI cameras powered by Azena. We have also integrated our applications for the DLPU Axis Communications cameras.

🚁 We have also launched the TrafficDrone – a mobile surveillance solution ideal for police and army with fast deployment and the ability to provide real-time data for traffic monitoring, traffic violations, perimeter breach, and more.

💻 To finish our list, our web pages have improved a lot over the last year adding many use-case pages, guides, and tutorials to our help section but we also held multiple webinars and participated in many conferences such as the NVIDIA GTC or the Milestone Systems developer conference.

FLOW has been integrated with XProtect by Milestone Systems

using the new Milestone AI Bridge! DataFromSky with the FLOW universal video analytics framework focused on real-time applications was chosen as one of 3 pioneers together with Two-i and SmartCow to integrate their solutions with XProtect. Thanks to this robust integration it is now very easy to arm get existing camera networks managed by Milestone VMS with the state-of-the-art AI video analytics capabilities of FLOW with our TrafficEnterprise server-based solution – perfect for use by cities for traffic monitoring, smart parking, and security.

Reserved Parking Space with FLOW

🚘 Many companies, especially the ones based in busy areas of cities, have given their employees the benefit of using company reserved parking spots. Imagine that you are one of the employees and come to your spot and it is taken by an unauthorized car. This is very inconvenient, especially if you were running late for a meeting because of traffic. How can you combat this? FLOW can function as a smart parking solution allowing you to get notified when an unfamiliar car is parked in your company parking lot. First, with this knowledge, you can go and try to park somewhere else. Second, FLOW enables you to gather data on the violating car such as its license plate and the duration of stay which you can use either to try and reach the driver or get the police to remove the car. You could also design a reserved parking lot by reading license plates at the entrance with a gate and letting through only authorized cars. These are only some of the solutions possible with FLOW AI-based computer vision framework.

DataFromSky at the International Engineering Fair in Brno 2021

DataFromSky is showcasing its solutions at the International Engineering Fair in Brno that is taking place this week. We are proud to be part of the Smart City Alliance under the City For The Future program of smart city solution providers crucial for making cities better and more efficient. We are grateful to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and CzechTrade for this opportunity.

 FLOW ALPR application is released now on the Azena smart camera app store!
If you have a smart camera from one of these manufacturers: VIVOTEK, Bosch Security and Safety Systems, Hanwha Techwin,
Topview Optronics Corp., BSTsecurityor Ability Enterprise Co.,Ltd. you can try the FLOW ALPR application for free for 30 days by downloading it from the AZENA app store.

 Our highly flexible LPR detection is able to read license plates even at sharper angles and in poor light conditions. What is more FLOW ALPR only needs one frame to read the license plate and then it is able to work with this data for the whole duration of the vehicle presence in the intersection and even match this data retrospectively.

NVIDIA GTC – Milestone XProtect – partner presentation

Our partner Milestone Systems will be presenting new solutions for the integration of Intelligent Video Analytics with the Milestone XProtect VMS on Thursday, November 11th at 1:00 PM CET as part of the NVIDIA GTC Conference. Such a solution will help to reduce costs and implementation time for setting up video analytics solutions on VMS-managed cameras. One of the benefits of smart video analytics systems, when used with existing camera systems, is the significant reduction in costs which will be even easier to achieve with Milestone XProtect VMS. The session will be presented by John Madsen, a Distinguished Research Engineer from Milestone Systems.

Dynamic Anonymization – Anonymized video streaming

  Are GDPR or other privacy policies a problem when using video analytics? Not with FLOW! 
 Dynamic anonymization is a new advanced feature in FLOW 1.11. When the objects and their specific parts such as faces and license plates are detected they can be anonymized with a variety of anonymization options. The options include solid color, pixelization, linear blur, and Gaussian blur and you can set the anonymization strength from 1 to 10. You are also able to anonymize whole regions of footage such as housing in the area to increase the privacy of the residents. And the last and very cool bit – you stream the clean anonymized video with FLOW to other devices via RTSP stream. What does this all mean? You can design the anonymization exactly the way you want and provide valuable data and statistics and satisfy your client’s strict privacy policy requirements at the same time.
