Conference on the Application of UAVs for Advanced Data Interpretation in Transportation Engineering at the Calicut National Institute of Technology

A few weeks ago, the conference on the Application of UAVs for Advanced Data Interpretation in Transportation Engineering took place at the Calicut National Institute of Technology. Dr. Ashish Dhamaniya, a Traffic and Transportation Engineering Professor at SV NIT Surat, along with his colleague Mr. Rajesh Chouhan, educated more than 50 participants on how to use DataFromSky TrafficSurvey at this event.

They focused on real-world scenarios and demonstrated how to analyze headways and work with classified volume counts and heatmaps. Road accident prevention with TrafficDrone

Central Bohemian Police Directorate found out that more than 40% of the 100 000 inspected drivers did not maintain a safe headway. To help fight this, they created a prevention project centered around DataFromSky’s innovative technology. It utilizes tethered drones for gap-time monitoring and report generation in real time.
