Analysis of the behavior of passengers on escalators in the Metro de Santiago – Chile is yet another valuable study that utilized our #TrafficSurvey.
The pedestrian trajectory it provided was used in simulation models to evaluate 3 scenarios: standing on both sides of the escalator, standing on one side and walking on the other and walking on both sides.
