COWI – School safety analysis

Mornings in parking lots in front of schools can get quite busy and children forgetting their surroundings can lead to accidents. To prevent them and increase the safety of the youngest traffic participants COWI conducted a traffic research project funded by Sign Fund. The study monitored people’s behavior in the school parking lots before and after redesign looking at speeds, acceleration or movement patterns and other data gathered using DataFromSky TrafficSurvey.
