FLOW integrated with the XProtect by Milestone Systems as an early adopter

Our #FLOW traffic analysis framework has been integrated with the XProtect by Milestone Systems as an early adopter. This was possible thanks to AI bridge that was created with the help of NVIDIA. Using the AI bridge, FLOW can easily import cameras managed by Milestone VMS and start analyzing them right away, making it extremely easy to collect analytics data from entire city camera networks. Moreover, FLOW is also able to communicate a range of events into the Milestone XProtect, where video recording can be started right away for logging dangerous events and traffic violations.

Smart cities and mobility business – CzechTrade mission in the Benelux

DataFromSky participated in a smart cities and mobility business mission in the Benelux.
The action-packed undertaking took place over the course of 3 days (20.-22. June) in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg respectively where Czech companies presented their solutions to the local municipalities.
DataFromSky was represented by Tomáš Šárocký who shared his knowledge about the latest AI video analytics solutions for adaptive traffic and traffic monitoring. Adaptive traffic was a particularly hot and exciting topic for many of the stakeholders. Why would it not be, when with our FLOW solutions – namely TrafficXRoads and TrafficCamera edge devices, cities were able to almost double the traffic flow throughput on some of the intersections where the system was installed while gathering a range of valuable traffic statistics. In this specific case, the pre-pandemic traffic data obtained from cellphones was compared with the spatial accident data to identify the locations where some traffic measures need to be applied. Surprisingly, it was observed that the intensity of traffic does not correlate with the severity of the accident.
