Analysis of Child Traffic Safety Near Primary School Areas Using UAV Technology

Combining drones and advanced video analysis technology for road safety analysis presents a breakthrough in understanding potential dangerous conflicts on our roads. Drones offer unparalleled coverage and are capable of detecting nuances between vehicles and pedestrians.

Our academic partners at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, conducted a research titled “Analysis of Child Traffic Safety near Primary School Areas Using UAV Technology”. This study revealed 43 potential conflicts, pinpointed areas of interest, and provided key insights to take informed actions to address this.
